Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account and using Paylalo, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the application. These terms apply to all users including employees, managers, administrators, and organization owners.
Description of Service
Paylalo provides workforce management tools including:
- Face recognition-based clock in/out attendance tracking
- GPS-based geofence verification for workplace attendance
- Work schedule and leave management
- Payroll processing with Philippine government deduction support
- Team management with role-based access control
User Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access
- Organization owners and admins are responsible for managing access within their organization
Biometric Consent
By using the face recognition features, you consent to:
- Collection and processing of your facial biometric data for identity verification
- Storage of face data in secure cloud infrastructure (AWS Rekognition and AWS S3) for the duration of your employment
- Capture of facial images during clock in/out events stored as attendance records
You may withdraw biometric consent at any time by requesting face data deletion through your administrator or by contacting support@paylalo.com. This may limit your ability to use clock in/out features. For full details on how your face data is handled, see our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use another person’s face or identity to clock in/out
- Manipulate or falsify attendance records, location data, or leave requests
- Attempt to bypass geofence restrictions or face verification
- Use the application for any unlawful purpose
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
Organization Responsibilities
Organization owners and administrators agree to:
- Use the app in compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations
- Obtain necessary employee consent for biometric data collection
- Properly manage employee access and remove departed employees
- Ensure payroll calculations are reviewed before finalization
Payroll Disclaimer
Payroll calculations provided by the app, including government deductions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), are for assistance purposes. Organization owners and administrators are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all payroll computations before processing payments. Paylalo is not liable for errors in payroll calculations.
Service Availability
- We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
- We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects service availability
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paylalo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of data, business interruption, or inaccurate payroll calculations.
Termination
- You may stop using the app at any time by requesting account deletion
- Organization owners may delete their organization and associated data
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify users of material changes through the app.
Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
Paylalo offers the following auto-renewable subscription plans (monthly and annual):
- Paylalo Lite — Up to 10 employees
- Paylalo Plus — Up to 25 employees
- Paylalo Pro — Up to 40 employees
By subscribing, you agree to the following:
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually and automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price
- You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your device’s App Store or Google Play Store settings
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
- Prices are displayed in the app at the time of purchase and may vary by region
